When most people write about this topic, they are wanting to have time with themselves. I'm having enough time with myself. What about you having time for me? This may sound selfish or self absorbed, but our time is important and our individual time, and we're not ready to explore the wide, wild world together until we learn to understand we need time (just you and me). I saw a scary movie recently about a relationship between a man and a woman: Revolutionary Road. I never want to have that kind of relationship, even though I have before...where one person is not understanding the other and their dreams, goals. I want us. I want this to go right, even though there are misunderstandings and hurt. Let's get back to having fun and remembering the great times and good times ahead.
Time for me.
Give some time for me, to me for us to let this New Year continue on, but with much hope. I hope! It is so.
